West End performers Reece Kerridge and Claire Learie have launched a new weekly theatre radio show aimed at theatre fans on the UK Radio Network.
Beginning today (2 August 2020) Sit in the Stalls will air every Sunday from 2pm until 4pm, offering theatre-lovers a mix of music and interviews with guests from across the theatre industry and the opportunity for listeners to choose their Musical of the Week.
Friends since 2015, Kerridge (The Book of Mormon, West End, Shrek The Musical UK tour) and Learie (Our House, Union Theatre) said: “We are so excited to be able to bring you two hours of staginess on Sunday afternoons at UK Radio Network. When we heard about this opportunity on UK Radio Network we jumped on it as we both have a passion for not only theatre but also presenting. So to be able to combine the two felt like a dream come true!”
