Singer Lisa Olivant has recorded the second single from Elliot Clay’s new rock-festival flavoured musical Millennials.
Following on from the recent release of the first song from the show ‘See You’ performed by Everybody’s Talking About Jamie star Luke Bayer, RnB artist Olivant’s performance of ‘21st Century Girl’ is now available on download.
Produced, mixed, orchestrated and mastered by Auburn Jam Music, the second single from the show will feature on an album which will be released before live performances of the show are scheduled once arts venues are able to reopen.
Commenting on the recording, the show’s creator Clay said: “I’m so excited to release another Millennials song and honoured that one of my oldest friends Lisa Olivant, who just happens to have one of the best voices I’ve ever heard, is singing it’.
Olivant, who writes and performs under the alias LILO added: “I’m so thrilled to have sung on the anthem that is ‘21st Century Girl’ from the upcoming musical Millennials. I’ve known Eliot for over a decade and to work together bringing this important song to life has been such an honour, and so much fun. ‘21st Century Girl’ is genre-bending, soulful, powerful and should be played loud!
“I’m sure the message will resonate with so many of you and I hope all the girls listening feel strong, empowered and united. But most of all, it really is a bop, so have a dance and enjoy!”
