Recently, Musical Theatre Review was the online media partner for Sunday At the Musicals, two charity concerts which showcased a host of female singers in London’s West End. Musical Theatre Review’s official photographer Roy Tan went along and here is his Sunday At the Musicals gallery.
Produced by Paul Burton and Paul Burton Productions and directed by Roy Gould, Sunday At the Musicals – Christmas Special at the Phoenix Artist Club raised funds for the Royal Variety Charity (formerly the Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund).
The concerts were hosted by stage and television favourite Rosemarie Ford (Cats, Me and My Girl) and featured a glittering line-up of female singers (accompanied by pianist Matt Pallant) performing songs from past and current musicals.
