Following a successful launch at London’s Heaven nightclub last year, genre-themed show Musical Theatre Raves will embark on its first UK club tour early next month.
Featuring a mix of DJ sets of musical theatre classics and special guests from some of the West End’s biggest shows, the Musical Theatre Raves 2023 tour will launch with the Olivier Awards: Unofficial After Party on 2 April at G-A-Y Heaven in London.
Presented by event producer and West End marketer, Willy and musical theatre specialists Lambert Jackson, the tour will then head for PRYZM in Brighton on 5 May to play the first of several dates (2 June, 7 July, 4 August, 1 September, 6 October, 3 November).
Following Brighton, the tour will head for Cargo (Vault Room) in Manchester, Cargo in Coventry (20 May), Digital in Newcastle (9 June), Camp and Furnace in Liverpool (17 June) before returning to G-A-Y Heaven in London on 18 June. After heading for Komedia in Bath (7 July) the tour will be back in London at G-A-Y Heaven (13 August).
The tour will return to Liverpool’s Camp and Furnace on 16 September and 11 November and will also visit Tramshed in Cardiff on 13 October, Foundry in Sheffield on 20 October, and The Mill in Birmingham on 3 November. The final date on the tour will be another return visit to G-A-Y Heaven in London on 10 December.
