West End Musical Celebration concerts to return to London

Following a successful six show run at London’s Palace Theatre, the organisers of the West End Musical Celebration concert series have announced a three-month residency at London’s Vaudeville Theatre.

One of the first shows to reopen West End theatres in the summer, the star packed celebration of live musical theatre will be back on stage at the Vaudeville Theatre on 1 November and 6 December 2021 and on 3 January 2022.

Created by the team behind the popular West End Musical Brunch events and the West End Musical Drive-In series in conjunction with producer Nica Burns, the West End Musical Celebration concert series featured some of the West End’s most high-profile performers including Alice Fearn, Trevor Dion Nicholas, Sophie Evans, Rachel John and Layton Williams.

Announcing the return of the hit series, co-producer Shanay Holmes (currently starring as Cindy Breakspeare in Get Up Stand Up: The Bob Marley Musical) said: “Get ready to sing and dance along to this musical extravaganza; together we are going to take the roof off the Vaudeville Theatre!”

Produced by Holmes and Chris Steward for West End Musical Productions, West End Musical Celebration followed on from last year’s crowd-pleasing West End Musical Drive-In series which brought West End-quality entertainment to thousands of theatre-hungry people during the Covid-closedown.

Launched in July 2020, the 13 musical theatre-themed shows featured over 70 performers including West End favourites Kerry Ellis, John Owen Jones, Rachel Tucker, Louise Dearman and Lucie Jones.
