West End stars Alice Fearn, Oliver Savile and Courtney Bowman will be among the cast of a week-long workshop production of new British musical Tinker Bell the Musical.
Directed by Anna Fox with assistant director Ayoade Bamgboye, the cast will also include Miracle Chance, Tosh Wanogho-Maud, Patrick Munday, Charlie Kristensen, Beth Hinton-Lever, Gwion Morris Jones, Ying Ue Li, Faye Wheeler, Matthew Ellis and Harriet Caplan-Dean.
Inspired by JM Barrie’s Peter Pan, the musical which places puts the spotlight on Peter Pan’s mischievous fairy companion has been created by the musical writing team of Ryan Carey-Hills and Lauren Hendricks. The TikTok favourites provide the book, music and lyrics for the musical which tell the story of Tinker Bell and her friends as they find refuge in London’s Kensington Gardens after fleeing Neverland.
Presented by RED Entertainment, the London workshop performances will begin on 23 August and culminate in an industry showcase on 27 August.
Known for their critically acclaimed comedy musical, Nursery Crimes, Carey-Hills & Hendricks are also developing new musical Wytch, a female-led show based on the infamous Lancashire witch trials of 1612.
