The timeless music of Rodgers and Hammerstein will be celebrated in a special concert performance at the Saffron Hall in Saffron Walden on 12 June 2022.
Rodgers & Hammerstein: Some Enchanted Evening will feature the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra conducted by Martin Yates, accompanying West End stars Gina Beck (South Pacific, Show Boat), Alice Fearn (Wicked, Come from Away), Rob Houchen (Les Misérables, South Pacific) and Scott Davis (The Phantom of the Opera, Carousel).
The programme will feature a selection of songs from the enduringly popular musicals of composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II, including Carousel, Oklahoma, South Pacific and The Sound of Music.
