Five West End favourites will join acclaimed Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn when his popular Frank & Friends show makes its London debut for one night only early next year.
Presented by Fourth Wall Live, the performance at Cadogan Hall on 16 January 2022 will feature the multi Grammy, Tony and Drama Desk award nominated composer on piano alongside Christine Allado (Hamilton, Victoria Palace, The Prince of Egypt, Dominion Theatre), Kerry Ellis (We Will Rock You, Dominion Theatre, Wicked, Apollo Victoria), John Owen-Jones (Les Misérables, Queen’s Theatre, The Phantom of the Opera, Her Majesty’s Theatre), Natalie McQueen (9 to 5 The Musical, Savoy Theatre, Kinky Boots, Adelphi Theatre) and Kayi Ushe (The Lion King, Lyceum Theatre, Kinky Boots UK tour).
Commenting on the show along with Fourth Wall Live’s upcoming sold-out concert performances of his Bonnie & Clyde, Wildhorn said: “I am so thrilled to bring the concerts of Bonnie & Clyde to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and to bring my Frank & Friends concert to London for the very first time. I know that you will be excited by the incredible artists that will share the stage with my amazing band and me. I cannot wait to share this evening with everyone at Cadogan Hall!”
Previously seen in the UK at Manchester’s Palace Theatre in 2016, Frank Wildhorn & Friends feature a selection of songs from the composer’s stage musicals including Jekyll & Hyde, Dracula, Wonderland, Bonnie & Clyde and The Scarlet Pimpernel plus a selection of his pop hits, including the Whitney Houston’s international chart topper, ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go?’
Fourth Wall Live specialises in bringing Broadway artists to the UK. Previous concerts have featured stage and screen star Chita Rivera, Broadway stars Sierra Boggess and Jessica Vosk and West End stars Michael Ball and Sharon D Clarke.
