The workshop cast of new rock musical Sisyphus: A Rock ‘n’ Roll Musical feature on a video released this week to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Written and directed by Ian Bowkett (The Sam Neill Experience), the musical which played London’s Canal Café Theatre in October 2021, takes its inspiration from the Greek myth about Corinthian king Sisyphus.
The cast for the video of the track ‘Happy’ includes Bryony Purdue (Rouse Ye Women! UK tour) as Merope, Emily Rushton (Orpheus in the Underworld, Bob Hope Theatre) as Sisyphus/Zeus and Ciara Whiting (Blood Brothers, Theatre Royal, Winchester) playing The Hunter/Death.
