New musical Mythic to debut at Charing Cross Theatre in October

The ancient Greek story of daughter of the Gods Persephone is the inspiration for the new rock musical Mythic which will receive its world premiere at London’s Charing Cross Theatre next month.

Written by Marcus Stevens (book and lyrics) and Oran Eldor (music), Mythic takes the mythical story of the daughter of Zeus and Demeter who became Goddess of the Underworld and turns it into a tale of mother and teenage daughter conflict set to a rock music soundtrack.

Directed and choreographed by Sarah O’Gleby, the musical will debut with a strictly limited seven-week season running from Monday 1 October until Saturday 25 November 2018.

Associate choreographer on the Tony-nominated Frozen, O’Gleby heads a creative team that includes: musical supervisor Chris Hatt, musical director Chris Ma, designer Lee Newby, lighting designer Jamie Platt and sound designer Andrew Johnson. with casting by Harry Blumenau for Debbie O’Brien Casting.
