TODAY! Top West End performers support Hello Again revival

Lust & Love 10x10Today performers from some of the West End’s biggest shows will join forces for a special concert to raise funds for the first British revival of Michael John LaChiusa’s Off-Broadway musical Hello Again at The Hope Theatre, Islington next month.

Proceeds of the concert entitled Lust and Love at the Actors’ Church in London’s Covent Garden on 21 September will help cover fees for the actors and stage management team involved in PlayPen Productions’ staging of the musical which will run from 20 October until 7 November. The company is proud to be paying its performers and stage management team Equity rates.

The concert line-up includes Madalena Alberto (Les Misérables, Evita); Maria Coyne (Wicked, The Rocky Horror Show); Leon Kay (Les Misérables, High Society); Matthew Wycliffe (The Commitments, Jersey Boys); Julie Stark (We Will Rock You); Scott Garnham (Made in Dagenham, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying); Michael Burgen (Spamalot) and Claudia Kariuki (Hairspray, Ragtime). They will be joined on stage by members of the Hello Again cast including Olivier Award-winning Miles Western; Offie nominated Thea Jo Wolfe; Adam Colbeck-Dunn (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat): Isabella Messarra (Bonnie and Clyde) and Joshua LeClair (She Loves Me).

PlayPen’s previous productions include the musical The Picture House, winner of the 2012 Scottish Daily Mail Fringe Festival Drama Award.
